There is always some madness in love …!

Love is a very beautiful word with a beautiful meaning, isn’t it?

Whether the love is for your beloved, your parents, siblings, friends, animals, your children and so many more they differ in the sense the expression of each type of love can differ.

I remember when my daughter long back went for her science camp for 3 days and as usual I told her to enjoy this time. But she says I cried when she came back…! Well, even today she teases me for that and I make joke out of it that actually I cried because you came back!!!

“The moment we cry in a film is not when things are sad but when they turn out to be more beautiful than we expected them to be” ~ Alain de Botton

All that is fun and now after many years my son went for his science camp for 3 days. I have not let him go alone anywhere until this time. We never encouraged sleepover for our kids as parents. It’s not that we don’t understand that or know that kids enjoy but thinking of other issues we always avoided. Kids have done sleepover with friends where we as parents are also present there.

Hence, when my son was going for his science camp I had all the typical motherly worries, will he be able to find things out there, will he be able to manage himself etc..! But then I said well he has to manage no matter what because I can’t go and help so why worry and get stressed!

“In order to move on, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it” ~ Mitch Albom

Though at home everyone missed him, we as parents and his sister but it was only our dog Reyna who actually expressed it by holding on to his clothes and sleeping on them.

He had left on Tuesday and today he came back. Me and my husband were waiting for the time and also the school notification about their arrival so we can go and pick him up.
The wait was done after couple of my meetings and then when I got the text message from my son’s school, we both went to receive him.

I was really not sure how my reaction would be because I was normal and eager to see him and hear all his stories. The moment I saw my son’s face in the middle of his other schoolmates, tears filled in… is this love? The moment he came to me and I hugged him I started crying more.

When they are far you miss them because you love them but when they are with you then? Then also it’s an expression of love through tears conveying that, I missed you!

Some mothers are kissing mothers and some are scolding mothers, but it is love just the same, and most mothers kiss and scold together

This weekend I am going to be busy … 🙂 yes you are right I will be busy with my book finalization and celebrating ‘Mother’s Day’ on Sunday May 11th.

Sophie was a girl with a courageous and yet innocent girls like any other kid. When she grew up to be with a man, even she didn’t realize that. Probably her childhood was so fruitful that she didn’t even realize it. When she got married and life was a new chapter for her. Each day she will have something new whether it’s from her husband or from her in-laws. Sophie didn’t know if this is how every girl goes through after marriage?

“What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice, and everything nice, that’s what little girls, are made of”

Well, she tried to keep herself busy with her hobby creating pots. She was very artistic
And since she wanted to immerse herself into it so the result was awesome!

How time flew, even Sophie didn’t know but one day while she was making the pot along with the wheel rotating she felt she is also revolving or is it the earth? Don’t know what happened but when she opened her eyes, she was in her bed with all her in-laws and hubby dear sitting besides her.

“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” ~ Sophia Loren

Sophie got scarred for a while and tried to get up but by then everyone congratulated her!!! 🙂 Do you know why?
Well, I am sure we all know by now….Sophie had conceived and she was 9 weeks pregnant. The feeling itself made Sophie speechless yet but her eyes was filled with tears.

You know why? Because only then a girl who after going through the stages of being – a daughter, sister, wife and when she becomes a Mother- that makes any woman a complete woman – Vama

“Motherhood is priced

Of God, at price no man may dare
To lessen or misunderstand.”
~Helen Hunt Jackson
I want to wish those entire women who are complete in their stages of life – ‘A very happy Mother’s Day’

I believe in this world where every now and then some or the other cruelty, torture or discrimination is happening towards woman yet, this world looks at a mother with a warmth and lovable manner 🙂 this is what I believe not sure that it has to be like that 🙂

“There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one” ~ Jill Churchill

Happy Mother’s Day

"A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take."

I know we all say that every mother in this world is the best…all mothers are born great to be that kind where every child will thank her for countless years!
But I know one and yes I am not talking about my mom as to every child his/her mom is the best :D!

“I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine – she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights” ~Adabella Radici

Today I want to dedicate this post to one of the mother whom I know and I find it so great that I came across her in this life time 😀

“The sweetest sounds to mortals given
Are heard in Mother, Home, and Heaven”
~William Goldsmith Brown

She was brought up in a well to do family…the times were such when girls were not sent to school… in such times she graduated and was married to a Doctor – Surgeon! She traveled with her husband to different countries and when she tells the stories of those days…it makes clear that romance she had with her husband is still young and cherished in her heart…even though her husband parted with this world at a very young age! By then she has two kids – girl and a boy. I have seen many women struggling alone with kids and she also did but she made sure her kids get educated well enough to face this world!

“The phrase “working mother” is redundant” ~Jane Sellman

I admire her courage and will with which she raised her kids. Today both her kids are well to do with there family and kids, and guess what now she is caring for her grandchildren the same way as she did for her own kids!…C’mon, tell me how many mothers do that? Many mothers feel content with there own kids success but she makes sure her love is distributed among her 5 grandchildren as she did for her two kids.

“Women are aristocrats, and it is always the mother who makes us feel that we belong to the better sort” ~John Lancaster Spalding

When I met this mother all I could get from her was love and a friend to chat with! Even today I do not hesitate to discuss anything with her which usually I might not share with all…I love this mom for what she is…she is an inspiration for today’s youngsters…!

“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts” ~Washington Irving

Happy Mother’s Day Amma 😀
