Customer Service…how many people like to be treated as …:)…. (I wont say God as MK Gandhi quoted once)..but I would say as human…I guess we all…and that shows we all are humans and even the people other end are humans too 🙂
Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value ~ Albert Einstein
Last weekend …we planned to go to Red Lobsters – ( a chain of restaurant mainly as the name goes, haslobsters and other sea food. Its one of the best and am sure people who know will always agree with me :)At least I enjoyed when I was in Toronto).
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. ~ Anne Frank
Anyway to make this story short…we waited there for 20 mints after we were made to sit and nobody bothered to even take the menu order…and it was to the limit when we called one of the server and he was still unable to decide whether to serve us or..not (a lazy attitude).
I won’t complain. I just won’t come back
That was the last straw on the camel’s back and we left the restaurant…!!!
Being on par in terms of price and quality only gets you into the game. Service wins the game. ~ Tony Alessandra
The manager felt bad as we were leaving coz I gave him a piece of advise as not to talk about big things on hospitality and service which was right on the customer’s face when you enter there..:)..we were offered free service etc… after all this but we didnt feel like giving them the opportunity to serve us even 🙂
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependant on us – we are dependent on him.
But yesterday, even though being very busy from work front…finishing my last meeting at 7 pm. with the off-site guy in India…we planned to go out for valentine’s dinner :)…and since everywhere it was so rush…we planned to go to this Afghani Restaurant!!! The name made me think about naan & kebabs…and I was not so happy 😉 but still we went as the review was good about them.
Love is a smoke made with the fume of sighs. ~William Shakespeare

Good service is good business.
When I was leaving…the manager asked..”hope u enjoyed” & I said with a big smile – Yes indeed and the service was excellent…:) this not only made me happy but all the servers too.
Every great business is built on friendship. ~ JC Penney
They all waved when we were leaving…and I think..it is something to be shared :), as now a days where businesses value customer…in the same way there are some who dont feel like doing so!! They think once reached at that appreciation level they think they can stop doing so…but they dont understand to be on that level one needs to keep on improving…’kaizen‘ 🙂
