The city of Pune..which is still known for its traditions and culture…even though the IT era is growing like weed…, it has kept its integrity..intact!!!
“Science and technology revolutionize our lives, but memory, tradition and myth frame our response.”
Its so busy in preparation of Ganesh Festival..one can see the idols prepared but unpainted..on the shelves.which after a while looks so beautiful with royal dressings…and while going around places… this structure caught my eyes…:)!!
“Culture of the mind must be subservient to the heart”
But when I saw this pic on my pc …only then I could make out that this is in construction for the D day …wow…am amazed with the architecture and the creative part of it 🙂 …one can see the actual creative people on top 🙂
**even though the IT era is growing like weed…, it has kept its integrity intact…>>wonderful to hear that…cos I always feel that technology swallows tradition n culture to some extent…but Im glad that many Indian cities still carry on it’s festivals n traditions just like many years ago…>>Keshi.
