“If I keep a green bough in my heart, then the singing bird will come”

Yes It’s St. Patrick’s Day…and I love to celebrate it!!! The first time in Canada when I saw at my work place – ppl coming and singing in the coir in the traditional outfit of Ireland …really it gives an emotional or spiritual touch…!!!

St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time – a day to begin transforming winter’s dreams into summer’s magic.

I always wear green on this day and yes I love to celebrate every festival…not the religious aspect but the celebration part …why miss any opportunity isn’t it ? 😀

“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”

The history of St. Patrick’s Day can be viewed in this video.

On this day I miss my Canadian neighbours…since I was living in the Irish community…my attachment with those people and the culture is very much close. In there memory I would like to wish you all a “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”

May the road rise to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face.

And rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the hollow of His hand

Don’t mind the religious side also as I like to learn about the various aspects of any culture.
